Bad Shin Splints? Here's some help.

There is only one cure for shin splints and that is rest. However, there are some exercises you can do to rebuild strength.  

Put a towel on the floor in front of you.  Standing tall, use your toes to pick up and put down the towel.  Do this for at least one minute.  

Sit in a chair, lift both legs in front of you and write the alphabet in the air with your toes, rotating just your ankles.
